Description

Novazime 4 ENZ is an enzymatic detergent specifically formulated to achieve high-performance cleaning in professional healthcare settings. It is intended for the effective removal of organic residues from medical devices and instruments used in clinical procedures.

Novazime 4 ENZ is a 100% biodegradable product, contributing to environmental sustainability.

The formulation combines protease, amylase, lipase, and cellulase enzymes with a high-efficiency, low-foaming non-ionic surfactant in a neutral pH system, resulting in an optimized and highly effective cleaning solution.

It is indicated for the removal of a wide range of organic substances, including proteins, amyloid materials, lipids, and cellulose residues adhered to medical and surgical instruments, dental devices, endoscopes, tracheoscopes, and other reusable medical devices.

The mechanism of action is enhanced by the high concentration and specific activity of the enzymes contained in the proprietary formulation of Novazime 4 ENZ. Protease facilitates the breakdown of proteins into smaller soluble molecules; amylase promotes the degradation of starch-based residues; lipase acts on lipid components, enabling their solubilization; and cellulase targets cellulose-based residues and plant fibers. This enzymatic activity is supported by the non-ionic surfactant, which enhances the dispersion and removal of suspended contaminants, ensuring thorough and efficient cleaning.

Novazime 4 ENZ can be used within a temperature range of 35 °C to 60 °C in manual cleaning processes, soaking trays, or automated ultrasonic cleaning systems.

The formulation is designed to be compatible with a wide range of materials, including stainless steel, rubber, optical lenses, and various plastics, preventing corrosion and preserving device integrity. It prepares instruments for subsequent disinfection or sterilization using appropriate validated methods.

The proprietary formulation of Novazime 4 ENZ ensures rapid and efficient cleaning performance, with bacteriostatic and fungistatic properties, and low-foaming characteristics suitable for high-throughput reprocessing environments such as medical diagnostic centers.

Uses and Restrictions

Dilution: 10 mL per liter of water. Mix until homogeneous.

Contact time: 10 to 30 minutes.

Instructions for use:
The contact time may vary between 10 and 30 minutes depending on the level of organic residue present. When necessary, mechanical action using a brush or gauze is recommended to enhance cleaning efficiency.

For equipment with temperature control, the product may be used between 35 °C and 55 °C to achieve optimal cleaning performance.

After treatment, thoroughly rinse the instruments with water, ensuring that all channels and lumens are adequately flushed to remove residual product. Dry completely. The devices are then ready for subsequent disinfection or sterilization using the appropriate validated method.


Method of inactivation and disposal:
The product may be discharged into the sanitary sewer system after dilution with running water, without adverse effects, or disposed of in accordance with applicable biosafety regulations. Empty containers should be treated as non-hazardous waste in compliance with local regulations.
